So woke up this morning to hear the Ivey news. Not only that but Nick Rainey is on Quadjacks radio basically calling out FTP for being a glorified Ponzi scheme. If Ivey has taken this stance then am I right in thinking my cashout 2 weeks ago is never hitting my bank account :(

would doubt you will be seeing that- looks to me like full tilt gone down the pan. Ivey pulling out of wsop is big big news and looking round now for betting opportunities on back of it

Don't want to sound cynical but I would imagine this is Phil Ivey looking out for himself... can't see how this is going to affect anyone positively :(

its about time someone took this mess into their own hands and took a stand against what full tilt are doing and how they have behaved.

they have been a total disgrace to the poker industry and i cant see how they will survive this. atleast they have their software to fall back on, thats about it.

i disagree. the companies statement is exactly what you would expect from a lawyer and the fact of the matter is fulltilt are looking more and more like a glorified ponsi scheme. In its first 2 years trading they spent more on marketing than any other site ever has ( even stars) and still didnt manage to seize the lions share of the market. If the players funds are ring fenced and indeed safe then why have players withdrawals not been processed? Ivey is looking out for himself of course and why shouldnt he- fact is tilt has a lot of questions to answer, stars were hit just as bad by all this yet have made good on players funds and withdrawal requests mainly thanks to the way their business model works. If I had money sat in there I wouldnt be expecting to see it again soon if ever.
