A lot of talk about this, recently a french tribunal rule poker as a game of skill, I read also that poker develop a lot of the skills that beisball does, but some countries and players  still thinking that poker is a luck game, how could it be luck if the same people win over and over.

I think we should have some standards when opening a new thread.

If you want to open a discussion, you should at least post a link to the article you have this information from. And barely two sentences in an OP is a little bit poor in my opinion.

To answer your question:

When you can make choices in a game which influence the outcome, means that you can make mistakes and good choices and everything in between. I see such a game as skillgame. However I think most governments know this but they are just trying to protect the people who play the game as they were gambling and therefore losing much money.

If the last is their argument they should also forbid people to invest money in companies, which also has a lot of losers.

Standards to open a new thread?

 

So do you think a new forum should have restrictions for the people to give their opinions, do you think 2p2 got the size they have by telling the people no to write.

Remember there is very little admin/mods on this forum so making threads better quality will increase the size of the forum significantly as it will have a better retention of new posters, especially high quality posters.

Firstly, I challenge you to create the exact same thread on 2p2. I'm sure you will get the same reactions.

Secondly, you should ask yourself the question. In what way can we try to get this community going? Instead of spamming useless threads, you should invest some time in a thread and make it more interesting. In that way people who visit this forum could think: Hey I can actually learn something from these guys.
Read your OP again, look me in the eyes, and tell me that this thread will contribute to the community in both quality and quantity, without lying. But then again at least you will have your 250$ for most posts, GG.
