Wow this is actually a pretty good idea!

I know from the period I was playing Starcraft 2 on the ladder that the ladder rankings kept drawing me back to play the game. The higher you wanted to get, the better and more focused you had to be.

I believe this leaderboard challenge will give such an extra motivation.

It would be more structured and its easier for the new members to find it.

Assum idea "nice_Steady". I assum a high majority of seriusly poker players will fancy this idea. it really helps a player play  slight more motivated and its good for the extra competition :)

Ideas for the Pokerfarm MTT leaderboard challenge:

-3 different leaderboards:
High($60+)
Medium($20-59)
Low($1-19)


- We choose 3 daily guaranteed tournaments for every buyin class(Carbon on Ipoker). Challengers are able to play that tournaments 31(days)x3(different tournaments)=93 times that month,
best 30 cashes count towards the leaderboard, other results then your best 30 cashes will not count.


-Price for the winner will be a % of the montlhy total winnings from the other MTT players that entered the challenge with a max. ( could be like 5 or 10% of your total profit that month with a max of $500 or something,) this way players cant lose money they dont have, and are more eager to enter the challenge.
if non of the other mtt players made profit that month.... there will be no price.


-The challenge wil be open for the current team mtt AND for the players the pokerfarm is currently considering staking(new applyers). This way the challenge could also be a way to scout new tournament players, and this could even go further like every current team mtter has so add a applyer on Skype and discuss hand etc. and talk about poker in general so the current mtter can get a impression of the new applyer

- There will be a thread on the forum where players talk about what they play and discuss spots, post HH and discuss opponents. This will make everyone better and more motivaded since they want to perform better for the team and challenge.

-update results when you cashed in a tourney for the challenge in the thread so the administration is correct.
